paper prototype

Doing the paper prototype has given me new ideas about my game. This has not made me modify my approach because I had already known how to approach making the game. The prototype was helpful in seeing how the layout of the game will be.  It also showed me and my partner the possible problems will occur.

My jobs for the team are primarily writing code and creating the actual game. While Tyler keeps us on track and creates the music.

Does the experience of writing code give you a new perspective of playing games?

Since I have started to learn code I have found a new appreciation for the games that I play. I can't imagine the amount of work it would take to produce a console game.

Free time

In my free time I will occationally play games. Currently I am playing Halo:Reach, it is very fun and I can play with my friends online. This course has made me apreciate the hard work game developers put in to the games.

Game review

Yesterday I played zeitgeist and gravitee. Gravitee was more fun for me because the concept was simple and fuctional. Zeitgeist was hard, choppy, and short. Overal I perfered gravitee for its simple play and how well it incorperated its lesson.
